על האירוע
הטכנולוגיות החדשות שפרצו בשנים האחרונות בעולמות הבינה המלאכותית והביג דאטה מאתגרות את עולם המשפט והקניין הרוחני. האם יש לקבוע כללי תקינה וחוקים מיוחדים בתחום? מה הקושי שבכך? מה צריך לאפיין אותם? איך ניתן להביא לאכיפתם בישראל ובעולם? ואיך כל זה ישפיע על חברות שיעשו שימוש בטכנולוגיות הללו?
הכנס יערך בשיתוף רשות החדשנות, רשות הפטנטים ו-WIPO (הארגון הבינלאומי לקניין רוחני של האו"ם), מנכ"ל WIPO יהיה אורח הכבוד בכנס ויישא את דברי הפתיחה. כמו כן יישאו דברי פתיחה ראש משרד הפטנטים וסימני המסחר האמריקאי, ראש רשות הפטנטים ומנכ"ל רשות החדשנות. בכנס אנו מבקשים לקיים דיון בין קובעי מדיניות, נציגים מן התעשיות, משפטנים ואנשי אקדמיה לגבי האופנים בהם טכנולוגיות בתחומי הבינה מלאכותית וביט דאטה, מושפעים ומשפיעים על תחום הקניין הרוחני. זאת, בהתבסס על ההנחה, כי ראוי ונכון לדון בשאלות המשפטיות, מתוך פריזמה השמה דגש על האופנים בהם ענפי תעשייה שונים, עושים שימוש בבינה מלאכותית ויושפעו מן הכללים המשפטיים שייקבעו בתחום.
How are AI and Big Data technologies challenging the world of law and intellectual property?
Emerging technologies such as Big Data and AI are rapidly developing and expected to influence our lives dramatically. The purpose of the conference is to bringing together regulators, academia, legal professionals and industries to discuss the new regulatory and legal challenges, in the field of IP, generated by emerging technologies. The conference is co-organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Israeli Patent Office and Israel's Innovation Authority.
