Hong Kong – Israel Industrial R&D Cooperation Program
In February 17th 2014, the Government of Israel and the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC signed an R&D Agreement aiming to promote and intensify the bilateral industrial R&D cooperation between Hong Kong SAR and Israel, and facilitate projects, partnerships and collaborations between entities from HK SAR and Israel.

The agreement serves as a basis for the HK-IL R&D Cooperation Program, jointly implemented by the Israel Innovation Authority and the Innovation & Technology Commission (ITC) on behalf of the Government of HK SAR, which provides Israeli and Hong Kong companies access to government funding for collaborative R&D projects aimed at the development of products or processes leading to commercialization in the global market.
