Join the Israel Innovation Authority's events during the International AI Week conference - taking place on Nov. 18-19 at the Tel Aviv University Campus.  Our sessions include a riveting panel moderated by the Dr. Aviv Zeevi, VP Technological Transfer Division at the Israel Innovation Authority presenting global policy experts who will discuss how different nations implement AI strategies.
Another panel moderated by Anya Eldan, VP and Head of Startup Division at the Israel Innovation Authority will discuss where AI is headed for and present Startup managers and the VC's that support them who will talk about what VCs looking for in a great AI startup and which VCs - AI-startups should look for. In addition, this session also includes a keynote address by Clemens Viernickle, CEO Merantix Automotive, Berlin.

Israel Innovation Authority's Panel: AI R&D in various national programs - A world review [Smolarz Auditorium]

The Israel Innovation Authority will lead a panel of government policy makers focusing on national strategies in AI who will discuss their plans for putting these strategies into action, followed by a discussion regarding regulations and cooperation.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Aviv Zeevi, VP Technological Transfer Division at the Innovation Authority, and opening remarks will be presented by Dr. Ami Appelbaum, Chairman of the Israel Innovation Authority and Chief Scientist at the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
Participants in this panel include:

  • Irina Orssich, DG Communications Networks, Content and Technology, European Commission - focusing on strategy for International collaboration in AI 
  • Kai Fong CHNG, Managing Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board - focusing on unmet market needs in AI

In this fascinating session powered by the Israel Innovation Authority, and moderated by its VP and Head of Startup Division Anya Eldan, we will hear from the investors, entrepreneurs and AI leaders about where AI innovation is headed and which startups will be shaping the future. 
This session includes a keynote speech by Clemens Viernickle, CEO Merantix Automotive, Berlin.
