Israel is launching the Autonomous Public Transportation Initiative!!
Following Government Decision no. 2316 on the subject of National Plan for Smart Transportation, and the Request for Information published by the Israel Public Transportation Authority last year, the State of Israel intends to become an international leader in the field of AV. Today, Israel is a leading hub with over 600 mobility startups, and a strong presence of AV startups and R&D centers in this field. Along with advanced legislative procedures to allow more innovative experiments and commercial deployment of driverless autonomous vehicles, Israel is proactively encouraging AV pilots in the public transportation sector.
Following the publication of the Call for Proposals, we invite relevant professionals from the AV sector to join us on the 6th of April 2022 between 17:00-20:00 for an international webinar where the initiative and the CFP will be presented in detail by representatives of the Israel Innovation Authority and Ayalon Highways.
