Call pre announcement

Israel joins ICT-AGRI-FOOD (ERA-NET) call with 29 organizations from 22 countries and the EU, which have joined forces to strengthen European international cooperation in research, development and technological innovation in agriculture and food computing and digitization projects. The call themes cover the entire value chain - Farm to Fork.

The purpose of the technological solutions developed within this framework is to use data and information from various players across the value chain, in order to enable stakeholders within the sector, consumers and public bodies, to make smart, healthy and sustainable decisions in regards to nutrition, health, safety and environmental implications.

Improved use of data and the removal of barriers to technology adoption within the sector will enable the development of innovative business models and more efficient management of agricultural and food systems, including the reduction of pollution, waste and losses.

The ERA-NET Cofund ICT-AGRI-FOOD will launch a joint co-funded call addressing the challenge of transforming the European agri-food systems into sustainable, resilient, transparent and fair systems. The call will be funded by 29 institutions from 22 countries, and has an overall budget of more than 20 Million Euros.
